Zero-dark: it was one of those nights. The acid droplets running down my mask, creating everlasting stains. Suddently I could hear the other camps' sirens howling. Scared, I gazed at the horizon. The rain made it difficult to see, but the floodlights were impossible to unnotice: powerful, blinding lights that turned the night into day. Ominous dark silhouettes were advancing, lurking from the shadows above us, dripping rain, casting awe and terror on us all. Then it happened!

I can see the beauty in rainy days, especially in the busy looks of passerbys. Different lives, other realities other than mine. With a glance of my right eye, I put on play a quiet song with my ocu-interface. Suddently the soundscape shifts to a more minimalistic mix of noises, clashing with the artificial sounds around me. I'm in my little world, wet but... happy? I'll take some pastries on my way home.
